Biography: Agnes Moorehead was an American actress whose career spanned four decades and a variety of forms, from radio and stage to film and television. She won for this work a Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globes, as well as being nominated for four Academy Awards.

Her best known role was as Endora, the mother of Samantha played by Elizabeth Montgomery, on the television show Bewitched (1964-1972).
