Biography: Professional US soccer player Alexa Morgan graduated from the University of California, Berkeley before joining her first team the Western New York Flash in 2011. Since then, playing as a forward, she has played for a series of US and international clubs, joining English club Tottenham Hotspur in 2020.
Morgan has been part of the US national team since 2011. As well as co-captaining the team alongside Carli Lloyd and Megan Rapinoe, Morgan has played in three FIFA World Cups and two Olympic games. She helped the national side to a silver in the 2011 World Cup and was part of the winning team at the 2015 and 2019 world cups. Morgan also won an Olympic Gold medal with the US team at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
