Biography:With a series of major hits during the 70s and 80s, Mandrell was one of the most successful female vocal artists of her era. During her career she won two Grammy Awards and seven American Music Awards, among many others.
Her first number-one hit was 'Sleeping Single in a Double Bed,' which was followed by '(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want to be Right.' She continued with a streak of Billboard number-one hits, with one each year from 1981 to 1983.
