Biography: Clint began playing guitar at the age of eight and started writing songs when he was twelve. After graduating from high school, Clint attended Keene State College in New Hampshire on a music scholarship. He left Keene State after one semester, and moved to Nashville to pursue a career in country music.
Clint signed with RCA Records in 1989 and released his debut album, Killin' Time, that year. The album's lead single, "A Better Man," was a number one hit on the Billboard country singles chart. Clint's second album, Put Yourself in My Shoes, was released in 1990 and peaked at number two on the country albums chart. The album's lead single, "Walkin' Away," was another number one hit on the country charts.
Clint has released a total of eleven studio albums, including his most recent album, On Purpose, which was released in 2015. He has also released two greatest hits albums and two live albums. Clint has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide.
