Biography: Donovan Philips Leitch, better known simply as Donovan, is a Scottish musician known for his many hit singles, including "Catch the Wind" (1965) and "Sunshine Superman" (1966).

He was friends with a number of popular musicians such as Joan Baez, as well as teaching John Lennon of the Beatles to play a finger-picking guitar style.

Several member's of Donovan's backing band, John Bonham, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones, would subsequently come to fame in their own right as members of Led Zeppelin.
