Biography: Dorothy Hamill won the Olympic gold medal for Women's Figure Skating in 1976. She was also the World Champion that year and the runner-up in 1974 and 1975.

Hamill is credited with developing the camel spin move in her routines. After turning professional Hamill was a star performer in the travelling Ice Capades show from 1977-84.
