Biography: Founder and CEO of Theranos, a blood test company she founded at the age of 19 while studying at Stanford University.
At age 30, she became the youngest female billionaire in the world and was number 110 on the Forbes 400 in 2014.
In 2015 she topped the list of America’s Self-Made Women in with a net worth of $4.7 billion.
Theranos' blood tests were never proven to work and the company collapsed in 2018.
Holmes was charged with fraud and lying to investors to raise money for the company. She was convinced in 2022 of three counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and now faces decades in jail.
