Biography:American professional road cyclist who won a (then) record 7 Tour de France titles before being stripped of these and barred from all professional sport for using illicit performance-enhancing drugs.
Also known for founding the Lance Armstrong Foundation (now Livestrong) for people affected by cancer after surviving metastatic testicular cancer himself.
