Jordan's first film collaboration with director Ryan Coogler was "Fruitvale Station" (2013) followed by the Rocky sequel "Creed" (2015) with Sylvester Stallone. Jordan's third film with Coogler was the Marvel superhero film "Black Panther" opposite Chadwick Boseman. The film was an international hit and became the first superhero film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
