Biography: Miranda Lambert is an American singer and songwriter. She began writing songs at the age of 16 and soon after, started performing with her father’s country band.

Lambert released her debut album, Kerosene, in 2005. The album’s lead single, “Me and Charlie Talking,” peaked at number one on the Billboard Country charts, making Lambert the first female artist in 10 years to top the country charts with a debut single.

Lambert has released six studio albums. She has also won numerous awards, including the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year Award and the Grammy Award for Best Country Album.

In addition to her solo work, Lambert is a member of the country music supergroup, the Pistol Annies. The group has released three albums.
