Biography:Primo Carnera, also known as 'the Ambling Alp,' was an Italian boxer and wrestler. He was the reigning World Heavyweight boxing champion from 1933, when he defeated Jack Sharkey, to 1934, when he was defeated by Max Baer.
Carnera is best known for his record as heavyweight champion of winning the most fights by knockout, having won 72 bouts this way out of his career total of 89 wins.
