Biography:Steven Soderbergh is an influential director, screenwriter, cinematographer and editor.
Soderbergh came to fame as the youngest person to ever win the Palme D'Or at 26 with his indie film "Sex Lies and Videotape" (1989).
He has gone on direct such Hollywood films as "Erin Brockovich" (2000), "Traffic" (2000) for which he won an Oscar for Best Director and "Magic Mike" (2012).
Soderbergh has also directed the Ocean's trilogy starring George Clooney, a remake of the Rat Pack film "Oceans 11" (1960).
